Weekly/Monthly Music Bingo
This event involves 6 rounds. The host will provide paper copies of bingo sheets as well as crayons to mark sheets with. Each round will have varying themes. First person to get 5 in a row on either board wins! Host will explain the rules at the beginning of the event, engage crowd with fun banter and commentary, and manages any ties all in an effort to create retention and return customers.

How long does a night of Music Bingo normally run?
On average, about 2 hours. Each rounds lasts anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes depending on how the playlist chooses to play out that particular night.
Is the event family friendly?
The problem with saying yes to this question is that everyone has different standards on what is considered family friendly. Are kids welcome to attend and have fun? Yes. Is the host and/or songs going to swear at times? Also yes. We like to be authentic with our presentation of the event. so the host does not hold back unless it is previously discussed that they need to.
Can the rounds be requested or customized?
Yes, with enough notice the rounds can be altered to fit any occasion. New rounds can even be made to highlight a birthday of an individual. Just dont send a message the day before the event and expect it to get done.
Will this event help grow my business/generate sales?
Nothing in life is guaranteed, but our hosts are not trained to just show up and hit a button on a playlist. We want to help everyone have a good time which will ultimately create retention for your business and benefit all parties involved.
This all sounds great. What’s the catch/ cost?
No catch. In order to determine if we are a good fit each other, there is a one month trial period at a lowered rate. At that point, if LongWayFromKent Entertainment and the venue determine that we want to work together, than the starting rate is $180 moving forward but may need to be adjusted if it’s determined that additional equipment is needed.
Weekly/Monthly Trivia
This event involves 5 rounds. The host will provide note cards for each. Each round has ten questions except for Round 2 which is a music trivia round and round 4, which is a picture round. Each round will various themes unless a theme night has been requested! Some of our partners enjoy changing it up with events such as Star Wars or Mario trivia, and we are happy to oblige. The host will explain the rules, read questions, keep score, promote specials, help with crowd engagement, and generally help everyone have a great time in an effort to create retention and return customers.

How long should I expect a night of trivia to last?
This event can vary greatly based on the number of teams we have, but expect no less than an hour and a half
Can the rounds/night be customized?
Yes, with enough notice (normally at least a week). Meaning, please don’t ask the day before.
Can the show/host/feel be altered or customized?
Yes, we are flexible, and will adjust to fit in best we can. We can not alter everything about a show and stay to the brand we are trying to portray though. Let’s have a conversation and just see if we are a fit for you.
Will this increase my sales and/or attendance?

Is the trivia event family friendly?
The problem with saying yes to this is everyone has different standards on what is family friendly. Are kids often in attendance and having fun? Yes. Is it possible the host may make adult comments or the trivia include adult content? Also yes. But we’ve also been known to do a Bluey round.

In order to determine if this is a good fit, you will need to communicate with our management. The discussion could include change in cost as the cost is adjusted based on the individual business’ needs, location, etc. The starting rate is normally $180, after a trial period to make sure both parties are happy with the partnership.
Private or Custom Events
Wanted to try out an 80’s night? Needed an MC for a charity event? Looking for a DJ to keep everyone enjoying the night this particular weekend for a private party like a birthday? That is a custom event! These don’t need to regularly occur. It could be a music bingo fundraiser, a special event, or if you have an idea for a recurring event and need help making it happen, give us a call, text, or email. These events are extremely specialized, so it can be challenging to give specifics because of customization that can be had. General ideas can be gained from the Private Event section and the Recurring event FAQ. We look forward to working with you!
Weddings, bar mitzvahs, parties (whether it is graduation, engagement, Birthday), or anything else you have in mind, hit us up. We would love to help you and yours have a great time. Whether that means something similar to our recurring events, a DJ, or something else, let us know.
Starting rate is: $500 for 3 hours, and $100 for each additional hour. This is the base tier and would include your host who will meet with you in a chosen capacity in advance to go over reception/party timeline, playlists, and any policies, a mic and a sound system. If there is any equipment needed in addition based on those consults beyond this, it will be discussed at consult.
